The General Assembly, both the senate and the house, have been conducting numerous standing committee hearings; however, the house continues to limit its full session calendar. In addition, the redistricting committee that began meeting in mid-September amid confusion as to who should wield the chairman's gavel, ultimately gave bipartisan approval to revised but still gerrymandered state legislative district maps.
