ANA-Ohio Statement Dealing with Nurse Staffing
At its November 2025 board meeting, ANA-Ohio adopted the following statement in response to the introduction of two bills dealing with nurse staffing, Ohio House Bill 521 and Ohio House Bill 535.
ANA-Ohio commends the Joint Commission for its recent decision to introduce a new standard addressing nurse staffing. This action reflects the growing national recognition of staffing as a critical factor in both patient care quality and nurse well-being.
